How to build your cutscene in Unity when you have Audio and Visuals ready to merge into a beautiful cutscene?

This time we add our beautiful audio to the Timeline. The audio we use is ready to be just added there in the right place to fit the whole visual scene.

This is how the Timeline looks currently.

  1. Actors
  2. Main Camera
  3. Virtual Cameras
  4. Audio
  5. UI Elements

Track Groups are a good way to keep your Timeline organized. I have my Virtual Cameras and Audio and UI Elements there so I can easily manage them when needed.

You can add a track group simply by just clicking the plus icon and choosing Track Group

Adding Audio Track

You can add Audio Track from the plus icon and choosing Audio Track.

Audio Track

You add the number of tracks you need, I needed two. One for Background Music and one for Voice Over. After you add those tracks you can name them accordingly. And then you move your Audio Clips to Timeline where you want them to be played.

When you have added these, you can now easily move on the timeline and tweak your virtual camera transition to make it line perfectly with the audio! :)
